Nectarines are stone fruits that are similar to peaches but with skin that is smooth. These can be consumed either peeled or unpeeled, and are extremely rich in vitamin B3. While nectarines are better consumed fresh, it is common to find these fruits used as ingredients in a variety of jams and jellies.
There are always a number of desserts, cakes, ice creams and pies that can be made using nectarines.
Storage: Room temperature. Do not refrigerate until fully ripe.
